Pre-School - For children aged 3+
Monday - Friday
8:55am - 11:55am or 8.55am - 2.55pm
These sessions are for children aged 3 and above.
Government funding (for up to 15 hours childcare) commences the term after your child turns three years old and is claimed directly by us at Playgroup. An extra 15 hours (extended funding) can be claimed by eligible working parents. Please visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk for more info.
If you would like to pay for additional hours, above the Universal 15 hours, there is a charge of £5.20 (for 3-4 year olds).
We charge all parents a voluntary fee of 50p per day to cover the cost of providing a morning snack – this is invoiced monthly but parents are made aware that this is paid at their discretion.
The Pod - For children aged 2 - 3
Monday - Friday
8:55am - 11.55am or 8:55am - 2:55pm
Children can start attending from the age of 2 years.
When your child first starts with us in The Pod, you are welcome to stay to help them settle if needed.
We accept Early Years Funding for 2 year olds meeting the necessary criteria, other wise there is a charge of £5.50 per hour until the children are eligible for government funding.
Children can then move to the Pre School room around their third birthday - this transition will be discussed directly with parents/carers before any sessions in Pre School are arranged.
